Artist Statement
In this series, my fascination with my wife, Marina becomes evident as I aim to adulate her indescribable allure while delving into the depths of our bonds of marriage. Through meticulous selection of settings, compositions, lighting, and environment, I strive to unveil Marina's unique personality and captivating charm. Love and devotion serve as the catalysts igniting my artistic vision, fueling a creative fire within me.
My creative process blends spontaneity and precision, capturing genuine emotions in serendipitous moments while meticulously planning shots to bring specific concepts to life. Through my edits, I seek to accentuate Marina's vibrant personality and showcase the natural colors of her surroundings.
Themes of boundary exploration, physicality, veiled illusions, and Marina's azure-blue eyes connection to the sky emerge throughout this series. I evoke the bird as a metaphorical representation of Marina’s soul. I present a visual world that invites deeper contemplation, celebrating personal transformation and the impermanence of life.
Through my art, I aim to captivate my viewers while evoking a range of emotions. I invite introspection and profound dialogue on the complexities of human relationships. The invaluable feedback from my peers has shaped my artistic journey, allowing for growth and a deeper connection with a broader audience.
